Dipti is a Designer with more than 7 years of experience working in India & the United States of America. She has worked in the field of Architectural Design, Interior Design. Her expertise moved around from drafting, 3D modeling to even parametric design. She has taught students at graduate and postgraduate level at reputed colleges in Pune. Dipti strongly believes in teaching design is not merely imparting knowledge but also shaping creative young minds and creativity is the new future.

Mayur Amilkanthwar

Academic Head

He is a software engineer, who pursued Interior Designing as his career. Driven by immense passion for the field he has over five years of experience in commercial and residential site projects.

Mayur also decided to share his knowledge with a new generation of interior designers by starting to teach in the field. He is a staunch believer of how theoretical and practical knowledge go hand in hand. He has an academic experience of 9 years and has taught more than 3000 students till date. His outlook towards the field of education is about creating confident, bold and young designers who stand out and create breath-taking projects.

He is also the academic head of our institution for who’s skills of management and teamwork we absolutely appreciate.

Sonal Thorat

Assistant Academic Head of the Department

Sonal is the former Head Of The Department of Fashion. Who is now the Assistant Head of the Academics. Sonal comes with over 9+ years of experience working as a creative Fashion Designer and Mentor. She has always had a passion towards fashion. Her specialization lies in being an expert in Computer softwares for Fashion design like Corel Draw, Photoshop etc. Sonal is hardworking and enjoys managing her students and faculties along with planning for photoshoot events and fashion shows.

Niriti Negi

Head Of The Department

With several years of experience as a faculty with multiple degrees in BA, B.ed and Interior Designing and Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication. She is heading the interior design department at INSD, Pune. She is creative and artistic at heart with zeal for teaching. She has strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to students and teachers at all levels.

Urja Cholkar

Urja Cholkar graduated as an Interior Designer with field-based experience of many years. She also has several years of background as a design mentor. She has guided many students to excel in their skills and knowledge to succeed in the industry. She firmly believes that everyone has the potential to evolve and progress.

Samidha Sanas

An Architect with a decade of expertise as a Management Professional with a proven track record of successful business strategy and analysis in the field of Operations, Project Management and HR. Ar. Samidha Tile-Sanas holds Twin Master Degrees with M. Arch. Computer Applications from Pune and MBA Engineering Management from United Kingdom. She is a Research Oriented & an Analytical Mentor who shares her pool of Corporate and Professional knowledge to our Post graduate and Graduate Interior Design and Management Students. Her Attention to details and Critical Thinking drives our students to enhance their Professional Careers.

Himani Puri

A versatile Architect & creative Interior Designer. Himani comes with 6+ years of working experience as an Architect, Interior designer and a teaching faculty. She completed Bachelor of Architecture and worked as an Architect in D’Signature. Handled multiple commercial & residential projects while working as an independent Interior Designer. Himani enjoys being with students and guiding them to become successful in their profession.

Harshal Khilare

Harshal khilare a professional interior designer having an experience of 9yrs+ is a proud faculty of INSD her expertise lies in luxurious, commercial and residential projects and also practices the same. she feels that teaching is not just out of textbook but, moreover it is practical knowledge, which needs to be absorbed by budding designers. She believes in teaching is the best way of upgrading self in terms of knowledge .Her vision is to prepare each one of the students to be market ready and confident about themselves no matter what challenges come upon. For her teaching is the greatest act of optimism.

Shivani Pandit

An architect who loves parametric architecture and is passionate about teaching. She has a background in both architecture and Interior Design and loves teaching. She is always experimenting and finding new ways to make Design education fun and enjoyable for students.

Shruti Shewale

A civil engineer and an interior designer with 3 years experience in this field And passionate about the teaching with all expertise with a deep knowledge of interior design principles, styles and techniques is essential and as well as design software. She is very strong in communication skills to effectively teach and explain design concepts to the students with all her creative mind and Understanding effective teaching methods to transfer knowledge effectively to the students.

Abhilasha Salvi

A Civil Engineer and an Interior Designer by profession with 6 years of experience. Her passion lies in bridging the gap between engineering and design, seamlessly integrating the technical aspects of space with artistic elements. A passionate Interior Design mentor with a deep commitment to nurturing the next generation of creative minds in the world of interior design.
